KARACHI – The police said that the law enforcement agencies on Friday arrested a prime accused in the murder case of Arshad Pappu.
According to the private TV channel, the police said that Inspector Chand Khan Niazi was declared proclaimed offender by a court. They said that the accused was hiding in Mianwali after fleeing from Karachi and was taken into custody upon his arrival.
They said that the arrest was made during a raid in Lyari area of Karachi. Pappu – a notorious gangster – was murdered along with his associates in Marach 2013 after being subjected to severe torture.
