ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said on Wednesday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan sounded like a defeated captain.
Rafique was referring to Imran Khan’s speech in Bani Gala where the PTI chief announced that party workers should go home rest and reach Parade Ground on Wednesday for a day of thanks. “Imran should first prove himself to be trustworthy,” Rafique said while speaking to a private news channel.
According to Saad Rafique, the PML-N was evaluating what Imran Khan had said as he could not be trusted. “We were heading towards what the Supreme Court (SC) did today,” Rafique added. The federal minister further said that if Imran Khan wants to go to Parade Ground he should contact Deputy Commissioner Islamabad.
